Hi there! I'm thrilled to be a part of Quanticopia. Over the years I've had the privilege of working in a variety of creative fields, gathering a wealth of knowledge and experience along the way. Now, I’m excited to bring all those skills together to help Quanticopia achieve its mission of spreading positivity. My journey has included a long career in international television, producing paper mâché sculptures, illustrating books and magazines and even writing a novel. I’m always on the lookout for new ways to create engaging experiences, and being here at Quanticopia gives me the chance to connect directly with people and their stories. I started out as an illustrator and animator, working with organizations like ‘Chatterbox’ magazine and the Glasgow and West of Scotland Society for the Deaf. After earning a post-graduate diploma in Electronic Imaging at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, I taught design, animation, and video production at the Glasgow School of Art and then spent 25 years as a Creative Producer/Director for companies like Disney Italia, Sky Italia, Discovery Europe, BBC Children’s, and travelled the world with Al Jazeera English News Channel as their Senior Creative Producer. In 2016, I returned to my home town of York and began freelancing, mainly focusing on the Heritage and Education sectors. During this time I became increasingly involved in 360 video and virtual production. On top of all that, I produce short films and virtual experiences, and I love running workshops for young people on creative writing, illustration, and film production.
